Flagship authentication

Make stolen credentials insufficient.

Multidimensional MFA adds patented color-, style- and position-based interaction to passwords, OTPs and passwordless authentication—helping verify the human behind the login.

3 approved patents 11K+ end users Device-less option
Authentication code verified through formatting, position, device, location, time and behavior layers

The identity problem

Knowing the credential is not always proof of the human.

Attackers can capture passwords and one-time codes through phishing, malware, social engineering and automated attacks. When access depends only on the captured text, the attacker may possess everything needed to attempt the login.

Rainbow Secure verifies more than what was typed.
What multidimensional means

One small action.
More proof behind it.

A user may do something as simple as underline one character. Rainbow Secure verifies the character, the underline, and the exact position where it was applied. Organizations can add more dimensions only when the risk requires them.

WHAT THE USER DOES Underline one character

A short, easy interaction—not a complicated formatting exercise.

WHAT RAINBOW SECURE CHECKS Character · Style · Position

The interaction must match the configured challenge.

OPTIONAL RISK LAYERS Device · Location · Time · Behavior

AI-assisted monitoring can evaluate access behavior and risk.

Simple for the user. Layered for the security team.
Where dimensions apply

Dimensions strengthen the factor and the access journey around it.

Rainbow Secure can add presentation dimensions to a credential and evaluate contextual dimensions around the request. The exact combination is set by organizational policy.

01

Password

Verify the password text together with the expected color, style and character positions.

Knowledge factor + interaction dimensions
02

One-time code

Verify the OTP value and the formatting challenge applied to selected positions.

Possession channel + interaction dimensions
03

Passwordless code

Use a dynamic code and multidimensional instructions without relying on a reusable password.

Dynamic verification + interaction dimensions
04

Every access request

Evaluate device, location, time and behavioral signals before allowing, challenging or restricting access.

Contextual dimensions + policy response
TRADITIONAL LOGIN

Type the correct characters

4 2 7 9 1
  • Limited to keyboard characters
  • Long passwords are harder to remember
  • Captured text may be replayed
VS
MULTIDIMENSIONAL LOGIN

Type the code + underline one character

4 2 7 9 1
  • The selected character position must match
  • The required formatting must match
  • More depth without a crazy-long password
Traditional vs. multidimensional

The difference is not more login steps. It is more evidence inside the decision.

Security question Traditional text-centric approach Rainbow Secure multidimensional approach
What must match? A password or code value Text plus configured interaction and contextual dimensions
What can phishing capture? Often the complete reusable text or OTP Captured text may omit required formatting, position and policy context
What does a keylogger record? Typed characters Characters, but not necessarily visual formatting and selected positions
How is access context used? Often separate or limited Device, location, time and behavior can influence the same decision
What happens when risk changes? The same factor may still be accepted Policy can allow, step up, restrict, alert or record
What is reviewable? Successful or failed login Authentication, dimensions, context, policy response and activity
Available configuration depth

Seven interaction layers—use only what makes sense.

Rainbow Secure can combine the character with font color, background color, font size, font name, style and formatting position. The organization controls the policy; the user may receive only one simple instruction.

RInteraction
layer
LAYER 01

Character

The password, OTP or passwordless character entered by the user.

Available depth includes up to 17 million font colors, up to 17 million background colors, more than 100 font sizes, configurable fonts and multiple styles. These choices expand the possible interaction combinations; they are not all shown to every user.
Why it is stronger

Security teams gain choices without transferring complexity to users.

Traditional systems often increase burden by demanding longer passwords, frequent resets or another device, app, hardware key, email or SMS step. Multidimensional verification can add evidence inside the interaction the user is already completing.

Less pressure to create very long passwords
Fewer unnecessary password-change demands
Policy can add layers for higher-risk access
Useful when a phone or hardware key is impractical
ILLUSTRATIVE CHOICE SPACE
36Q+ possible choices per character under a configured example

Beyond keyboard characters

Color, background, font, size, style and position can create an enormous theoretical combination space. Actual security depends on the organization’s policy, permitted choices, implementation and risk controls—not on one number alone.

Up to 17M font colors Up to 17M backgrounds 100+ sizes Fonts & styles
Simple product experience

Underline one character.

That is all the user needs to do in this example. Rainbow Secure checks the correct code, the underlined character and its exact position. AI-assisted monitoring can separately evaluate behavior and contextual risk.

  1. 1Click one character
  2. 2Click underline
  3. 3Verify

Underline the third character

Educational demo only. No credentials are collected.
AI-aware access

Behavior becomes part of the decision.

AI-assisted monitoring can identify unusual access patterns and help trigger a challenge, restriction, alert or review. This adds risk awareness without asking the user to perform more formatting.

Quantum-ready direction

A complementary human-verification layer.

Multidimensional interaction does not replace post-quantum cryptography. It provides a separate human-verification layer that can work alongside evolving cryptographic standards as organizations modernize.

Threat resistance

Designed for the gap between a captured credential and a verified human.

01

Phishing

Captured plain text may not include the required color, style or formatting positions.

02

Keylogging

Recorded keystrokes do not necessarily reveal formatting and position.

03

Credential stuffing

Reused credentials face additional multidimensional verification.

04

Bots & automation

The attacker must reproduce more than a static value.

05

Account takeover

Location, device, time and behavior can influence the access response.

06

Shared devices

Device-less verification can support environments where phones are impractical.

Flexible by design

Add multidimensional verification to the authentication method that fits your users.

PROTECTION IN ACTION Related threat protection

Phishing & Social Engineering

A copied sign-in page may capture credential text, but it may not contain the expected Human-Verified interaction or organizational sign-in experience.

  • Require an intentional interaction instead of passive approval
  • Use Company Visual DNA to reinforce the expected experience
  • Combine authentication with contextual policy when risk changes
